Broadband Amplifiers
Linwave broadband amplifiers are multi-octave designs to meet specific customer applications. We have broadband design experience from VHF up to 40GHz. Linwave has low noise, small signal and power amplifier broadband designs. The device technology used within the amplifiers is application dependent. The broadband SSPA modules utilise either LDMOS or GaN devices, most other amplifiers use silicon, GaAs or SiGe devices.
We have recently launched a new range of ultra broad band amplifiers covering 5-40 GHz
Quad Band Amplifier (C, X, Ku and DBS Transmit Bands)
The LWA90230 quad band amplifier is designed to operate in the C, X, Ku and DBS bands used forsatellite up-linking. The amplifier provides a nominal small signal gain of 34 dB. It includes avoltage controlled attenuator with a nominal range of 30 dB. P1dB is 23 dB. Gain variation acrossthe full band is ±1 dB. The amplifier is housed in a hermetically sealed package suitable for use inharsh environments.
Ultra Wideband 5 to 40 GHz Amplifier
The LWA90207 provides a nominal small signal gain of 22dB with a gain variation of ±1 dB across
the band 5 TO 40 GHz. The amplifier is housed in a hermetically sealed package suitable for use in
harsh environments.
Wideband 18 to 40 GHz Amplifier
The LWA90206 provides a nominal small signal gain of 35dB with a gain variation of ±2 dB across
the band 18 to 40 GHz. The amplifier is housed in a hermetically sealed package suitable for use in harsh environments.
Wideband 12 to 18GHz Amplifier
The LWA90212 provides a nominal small signal gain of 30dB with a gain variation of ±1.5 dB across
the band 12 to 18 GHz. The amplifier is housed in a hermetically sealed package suitable for use in harsh environments.
Wideband 2 to 12GHZ Amplifier
The LWA90211 provides a nominal small signal gain of 35dB with a gain variation of ±2 dB across
the band 2 to 12 GHz. The amplifier is housed in a hermetically sealed package suitable for use in
harsh environments.
