Ku Band Variable Gain Driver SSA

Increases linearity, simplifies system design, reduces cost, reduces size and increases reliability

As a member of our high performance variable gain solid state amplifier (SSA) family, it is an essential part of the lineariser options for new generation, high power, travelling wave tube amplifiers (TWTAs).  The amplifiers are designed around a custom analogue gain control circuit that provides the precision required for optimum lineariser performance.

Linwave variable gain solid state amplifiers feature excellent linearity and stability. Their small size, light weight and low power consumption makes them simple to install inside most TWTAs.  Linearisers enable TWTAs to meet challenging linearity specifications with smaller packages, lower power consumption and reduced cost.
