Linwave Electronic Manufacturing Services offer a range of surface mount QFN components. These are offered as air cavity liquid crystal polymer (LCP) versions and hermetic ceramic package options. The LCP packages offer good thermal expansion match to laminate circuit boards and by employing gold plated copper lead frames high thermal dissipation can be achieved. The current range of LCP products have been shown to give excellent performance at frequencies > 20GHz.
