Work on the new Joint HQ formally started on November 23rd with purchase of a 1.5 acre site to the South West of Lincoln. The Purpose designed; wholly owned facility, will satisfy Design/ Manufacturing for Linwave Technology and Office /Wharehouse requirements of Microwave Marketing.

The high tech facility will initially extend over 11,000 sq ft with additional land retained for further business expansion in the future; further cementing ties to the city in the long term. Group CEO Chris Carr commented "The site forms a key part of our growth strategy, supporting our high calibre staff with first rate Design Labs and manufacturing Clean room facilities, whislt expanding our capability to handle larger projects as we grow. Its a great reward for the whole team that have continued to absorb the demands of expanding customer needs with great drive and enthusiasm"

The group has expanded its Microwave Design and Manufacturing operations under Linwave Technology from an initial staff of 6 in 2003 to a level exceeding 45 today, in contrast to the current difficult general trading conditions of the UK. Funding support for the project is provided by HSBC, with the Design and Build Contract delivered by Stirlin Developments and LK2 Architects.
