Linwave Technology Limited was formed in early 2003 following a management buy out of Celeritek UK Ltd. Our design team are highly qualified and have in excess of 150 man years combined experience covering all major market sectors.

Our production team are similarly qualified and are equipped with a modern test facility.

The company size allows flexible, responsive approaches to customer requirements ensuring a final product that exceeds our customers’ requirements and expectations.

Paul A Tyson – Managing Director

Paul Tyson was previously employed by Celeritek UK as a senior member of their technical staff. Paul was employed by Mitel Semiconductor as a Principal Development engineer and Product Development Manager for the Automotive Sensors Division from 1995 to 2000. From 1987 to 1995 Paul was employed by Marconi Electronic Devices and GEC Plessey Semiconductors in various military microwave design and development engineering roles. Paul has an engineering degree from Loughborough University and is a Chartered Engineer and Member of the IET.

Christopher M Carr - Sales Director

Chris Carr is also a Director of Microwave Marketing, a microwave component and sub system supplier. Chris brings a wealth of commercial and marketing experience to Linwave. Chris was previously employed by EEV in Lincoln as Production Manager; prior to that by Marconi Electronic Devices and GEC Plessey Semiconductors in microwave production management positions.

Trevor Wilson - Technical Director

Trevor Wilson joined Linwave in March 2006 as our Chief Development Engineer and was promoted in early 2007 to his present position. Trevor brings over 30 years of design and manufacturing experience to Linwave and has previously held principal engineering positions within Marconi Electronic Devices, e2v Technologies and Celeritek UK. Trevor also has experience within technical sales organisations. Trevor has a Physics and Mathematics degree from The University of Reading and is a Chartered Physicist.
